摘要

漢語動結式的句法派生是生成語法研究中的核心話題之一。本文以Sybesma（2017）的內部體分析為基本框架，假定結果補語（V2）層級位置高於主動詞（V1）。基於Collins（2024）提出的“基於合併的論元結構理論（MTAS）”，本文重新審視了漢語動結式的論元結構，主張外部論元和內部論元分別由相應的功能中心語（v和v_IA）引入句法，論元結構的構建遵循論元準則。在此基礎上，本文為動結式提出了一個動態派生機制。在該機制下，動結式根據實際的論元數量和類型，選擇相應的輕動詞，即論元引入中心語，其數量和類型隨動結式的具體類型而動態變化。主動詞通過中心語移位到結果補語處，形成V1V2語序，避免了過往研究中語序生成方面的理論或實證衝突。這個基於MTAS的漢語動結式派生機制為動結式不同變體（賓語指向及物動結式、主語指向及物動結式和不及物動結式）的句法派生提供了統一且具解釋力的分析路徑。

Abstract

The syntactic derivation of Chinese V-V resultative constructions is one of the central topics in the literature of generative linguistics. This paper adopts Sybesma’s (2017) inner aspect analysis for Chinese, arguing that the resultative secondary predicate (V2) is syntactically higher than the main verb (V1). Following Collins’ (2024) Merge-based Theory of Argument Structure (MTAS), this study re-examines the argument structure of Mandarin V-V resultative constructions and assumes that both the external argument and the internal argument are introduced by functional heads, i.e., v and v_IA. The construction of argument structure is constrained by Argument Criterion. Accordingly, a dynamic derivation mechanism for Chinese V-V resultatives is proposed in this paper. Under the mechanism, different variants of resultatives dynamically select appropriate argument-introducing heads (AIHs) to introduce their arguments. The V1-V2 cluster is derived by V1-to-V2 head movement, which avoids the theoretical and empirical conflicts raised in previous studies. The derivation mechanism under MTAS shows its economic and explanatory power in deriving various V-V resultative variants, including object-oriented transitive resultatives, subject-oriented transitive resultatives, and intransitive resultatives.
